Conservas Serrats Yellowfin Tuna in Sunflower Oil

Yellowfin tuna is a migratory specie that is caught in tropical and equatorial waters. Its pectorals fins are much shorter than the pectoral fins of the white tuna and are yellow. This species of tuna can grow to a length of 2 meters and can weigh around 200 kg with a scaly body and a voluminous tail. This species is the most fished of the tunas and as a result is the most common tuna used in preserves. The Yellowfin Tuna is highly valued by consumers, even though its flavor is not as delicate and texture not as tender compared to White Tuna and has a redder color to its meat.
