Il Forteto Pesto alla Genovese
Pesto is a typical mixture of fresh herbs that originates from the region of Liguria. This pesto was made in Tuscany using Genoese DOP basil as the basic ingredient. Besides the basil, small amounts of garlic, walnuts and pine-nuts are also ground up. Everything is flavored using Grana Padano DOP cheese, Pecorino cheese and extra virgin olive oil.
